Forum Rules
1) No sexist, racist... or any inappropriate comments. Respect is Everything!
2) Don't diss Hug A Gamer. If you don't agree with the way things go at Hug A Gamer then come join our team and help make Hug A Gamer better!
3) No advertising outside of the proper forum topic section. And no advertising for profit.
4) No sex talk unless it's an appropriate topic in a locked section. We have people under the age of 18 using this forum, so be respectful.
5) No Torrents or file sharing. FTP addresses are alright as long as, once again, you're posting it in the right section. If you are posting a FTP address you can only have unlicensed stuff on your server. And do the registration stuff by e-mail not over the forum.
6) No breaking the other rules in the FAQ section or the user agreement you signed when you registered.
7) Be smart and don't do anything you would not want other people to do on your forum!

10) Don't badmouth other groups that have similar goals. If you love Hug a Gamer great but please don't bad mouth other events or groups. It only leads to fights, so once again be respectful.
11) Read up before asking! There are tons of guides, FAQs and each forum has a dedicated Q&A thread with additional info and rules.
12) Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted.
13) Be nice to each other and respect the moderator. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn to the respective moderator and if the moderator can't help you send a private message to the Admins.
14) Do not spam. No blatant advertising.
15) No warez, cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted content! Links to content of a questionable nature (e.g. anything you don't own and/or have downloaded), asking for, offering, or asking for help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated. Once again unless its on FTP and keep it legal. No posting your list of stuff in the forum either. Just ask a moderator if you have doubts.
16) Keep the size of personal images down. Pic's taken of events can be shared via photo-bucket (or similar sites) to remove the load time on the forum. You can also use the websites photo page in order to share your photo's instead of using the forum.
17) No cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.
18) Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.
19) Do not send questions pertaining to topics of discussion on this board via personal messages or email to Moderators or Admins, they will be ignored.
20) Don't post just to increase your number of posts. (unless its in the games section). If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't post. The number of posts on this board has no direct relation to the experience of a member.
21) How NOT to post on this forum:
5 minutes after your initial post you reply to your own post writing something like "Why is nobody helping me? I'm sure you know the answer". Once somebody replies to your thread but doesn't give you exactly the answer you've been expecting you insult them.
Do not ask "what's best" because this question cannot be answered objectively. Each and everyone has their own view about what's best in a certain area. The best is what works best for you!
22) The official language is English but this forum is the official Hug A Gamer Day Forum. Therefore, you may chat or post in ANY languages.
23) Multiple registrations are prohibited and are grounds for immediate account deletion.
24) Political discussion not directly related to Gaming, Anime, or other similar issues are prohibited, as is any discussion on religion and religious matters.
25) Instructions by the moderator team are to be followed.
