What to do if you can't donate Money
The Gaming Recycling Program!
Besides the fact that we are helping to save the environment we accept all types of donations including those already in gaming format. Here is a bit of information on our Gaming Recycling Program.
Donate your old Video Games or Gaming systems or Gaming related items:
Do you have an old system that you're not planning on touching ever again?
An old Game you played far to many times?
You old D&D books are taking up too much shelf space?
You have repainted your Games Workshop figurines far too many times?
DON'T THROW OUT YOUR GAMING GEAR!
Not only is most video equipment bad for the environment when it goes to landfills BUT other people out there might want to have a chance to play on that old Vic20, Xbox or other game. Don't throw out those old kids games! Share them with the next generation! And help save the environment at the same time!
Why not recycle your old video games and gaming material and donate them to Hug a Gamer!
Here is how it works
1) You send us your gaming stuff. You are responsible for the shipping cost.
2) We receive your gaming stuff and store them until we hold the next giveaway event.
3) Users register on the forum and post in the ''What I wish for'' in the giveaway section.
4) Moderators look at the inventory list and send out whatever we have in storage that matches what a user is requesting. Hug a Gamer is responsible for the shipping cost of games going out to people. Again we do not accept COD or pay for your games to be sent to us.
5) Sometimes when we receive a BIG item such as video game consoles or a collection of D&D books or some sweet Larping gear we will group the items together and form whats called a Giveaway Package. These packages are going to be given out like a contest. Sometime its going to be as simple as posting on the forum and others its going to be fun like ''show us your best war cry video contest''. So whatever you donate, not only gives you a warm fuzzy feeling of having done a good deed but you can also say ''hey, these people are making fools of them selves for my old Larping sword-OF-DOOM!''
