As noted all over this website we are a International group. As such, in order to get games donated by people out to the gamers in your area, we need representatives. At this point we are looking to have 1 rep in every country world wide.

Representatives are responsible for 4 things:

1. Receive Gaming materials donations from the area the representative lives in. (The country)
2. Once items are received they need to be inspected. The rep should have a good knowledge of all types of gaming as well as some BASIC electronics knowledge. Items such as discs are tested & cleaned, if possible. Game consoles are tested. Larping equipment is checked to be in good shape and repaired if needed. If the rep is not able to test or repair items, the rep ships the material to the Canadian headquarters for processing.
   
3. Items received are cataloged locally.  Descriptions and photos are then sent to Tori and Gilles so they can add it to the General Catalog.
4. If possible the items are then shipped within the country from which it originated from. If there is no request for the item in that country or there is a request for the item in an other country who has made a request for it a long time ago then they have priority on the item. The item is then shipped out either to the Canadian Head Office or the local (country) rep in order to be shipped to the gamer who had made the request.
   

We are going to need reps in all countries in order to receive stuff, advertise Hug A Gamer and participate in special events. Representatives also need to have great organizational skill as they might be asked to organize events such as meets, Lan parties and other evens in their area.

There are no financial requirements in becoming a representative but reps might be financially involved in shipping the gaming items to the gamers. Reps will never be asked to pay in order to become a representative of Hug A Gamer nor will they be asked to pay for other gamers games.  The only time a rep will be asked to pay for things are when the rep is shipping items out and at that point the rep will receive financial compensation once the items and the confirmation has been forwarded to the head office. In other words we cover the cost of shipping an item to the gamers or to the head office.

Keep in mind if you want to become a Representative you must be willing to sacrifice some of your time to play....I mean test the items sent to you. Ship items to gamers or head office, and have a blast organizing fun local events for Hug a Gamer. Sometimes you might even be asked to make a appearance on a local TV and radio station to talk about Hug A Gamer and its missions.
